I don't know how I forgot about this: on June 26-28, the Department of Philosophy at Northwestern University will host the conference "The Epistemological Significance of Disagreement". Needless to say, the problem of disagreement is of central importance to skepticism: it was an essential aspect of Pyrrhonian skepticism and recently contemporary epistemologists began to focus their attention on it.
